Ask Your Customers

Daniel Glickman

Too often we spend too much time trying to solve problems that our customers can easily solve for us. Whatever the reason for this phenomenon, it is best to remember to ask your customers for answers whenever and as much as you can.

For example: What is the best time to schedule your newsletter delivery? Countless articles have been written on this topic (Which may have been written by 24-year-old content marketing newbies who copied the info from stuff they found on the web). Instead of spending your time reading through online articles and running A/B tests, why not ask your customers.

Asking your customers is easy, you can create a Facebook poll or just add an open-ended question in your email newsletter. If you have a sales team, they may ask the question in person next time they talk to a prospect or customer.

Just remember: no one knows your customers as well as they do.
